About me

I am a writer and artist with over 20 years of experience working across diverse communities and cultures. My work has taken me throughout Southern and West Africa, Morocco, and Europe, primarily in program management and communications with global nonprofits, the U.S. government, and local foundations.

I have loved this work deeply, and I have also spent much of my life dreaming of becoming an artist. I am drawn to storytelling and to people — their complexity, their resilience, and the inexplicable pull of love in all its forms. While my professional work has long focused on celebrating humanity, I am now exploring those same stories through my artwork in my free time in a more personal and creative way.

I currently work as Communications Director at Bainbridge Community Foundation, and serve on the Board of Directors at Bainbridge Island Museum of Art (BIMA).

I live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband, daughter, cat, and dog, and can never put down a good book.
